The spring rolls were alright and had a nice side of vegetables with it. The oxtail can be a little annoying to eat since you have to work around the bone though so patience is a must. The noodles and soup were good but my favorite part was definitely the oxtail. I’ve had pho many times before but I’ve never had oxtail pho so it was an interesting surprise.
I got the oxtail pho since that is what I’ve read all about and has seen pictures of. Everything we ordered was really good and healed me after Vegas nights. Must check out pho restaurant if you are craving pho or really good soup in Vegas! They are known for their oxtail pho and other oxtail items. It’s definitely a hidden gem that a lot of people know about. Definitely don’t skip out on the crispy beef and this was my favorite, it’s a little sweet, crispy and packed with flavor.Īs we waited for our food we were surprised on how busy the restaurant got. If there are soup dumplings on the menu I usually order these and wasn’t disappointed, tasty soup inside, and dumpling wrapper wasn’t too delicate that it remained intact during the transfer to my spoon. We ordered the stir-fried green beans, crispy beef, mama’s special chow mein, shrimp fried rice and the pork soup dumplings.
Decided to pass this time around but next time I’m gonna order these before I even sit down. I wanted to try the mama’s special pan fried buns but the waiter said they are made to order and take about 45 minutes! Kinda disappointing since we didn’t want to wait that long. We were originally looking for dim sum but found ourselves here even though they don’t do dim sum. From the outside I would have never found this place on my own or decided to give it a try if I drove by but glad we did. It’s located in a unassuming shopping plaza with not much around and not in the old Chinatown plaza. This restaurant was on my list from a Las Vegas foodie blogger that I follow and I am so pleased I went with her recommendation.
